Laima Kuliukas MAPS

Laima (pronounced Lie-ma) was born in the UK and moved to Perth with her family in 2002 so that her father could complete a PhD in human evolution. Laima first studied Psychology in this context of evolutionary human biology, and this has shaped her interest during her studies at UWA and Curtin.

Over the past 7 years Laima has worked in organisational psychology and rehabilitation roles, including as National Clinical Lead for a rehabilitation-focused counselling service.

She gained General Registration as a psychologist under the supervision of Lidia Genovese and Ronnie Barron, and has recently completed accredited training for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
